One Direction still holds onto the top position after 2 weeks.
One Direction produces a good performance with two songs, "Gotta Be You" at the number 1 spot and "One Thing" debuting at the 15th position.
This chart shall be the last chart that Girls' Generation will appear.
Foster the People makes it big with two songs on the chart.
Wow, an astonishing exit from Lady Gaga, jumping out the chart by 9 positions from the 12th position to land outside the Top 20 chart. What a shocker!
Debut:
Gym Class Heroes(Feat. Neon Hitch)-Back Home
Foster the People-Don't Stop(Colour On The Walls)
One Direction-One Thing
Falloffs:
Taio Cruz-Troublemaker
He Is We(Feat. Owl City)-All About Us
Lady Gaga-Marry The Night
|
From 13-19 January 2012:

One Direction dominates the chart again and my prediction was right.
Another poor performance from one of my favourite songs, "Troublemaker". I don't understand, really.
Debut:
Hot Chelle Rae(Feat. Demi Lovato)-Why Don't You Love Me
Avril Lavigne-Stop Standing There
Javier Colon(Feat. Natasha Bedingfield)-As Long As We Got Love
Falloffs:
Shigga Shay-Let's Roll
Adele-Rumour Has It
The Wanted-Warzone
|
From 6-12 January 2012:

"It Will Rain", number 1 for two weeks in a row, not surprised really, not surprised.
Something gives me the feeling that "Gotta Be You" will be number 1 in the next chart.
Wow, Foster the People is showing a fantastic performance by leaping up 6 positions from the 9th position to the 3rd position with "Call It What You Want". It seems to be that Indie songs are becoming the 'in' thing these days.
Same goes to Ed Sheeran with "Lego House", leaping up 6 positions.
Similarly to "Hit The Lights"
Amazing debut from Katy Perry
Hell lot of leaps from artistes this week, astonishing.
Debut:
The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus-Angel In Disguise
Wiz Khalifa(Feat. Bruno Mars and Snoop Dogg)-Young, Wild and Free
Katy Perry-The One That Got Away
Falloffs:
Dappy-No Regrets
Aziatix-Go
One Direction-What Makes You Beautiful
|
From 30 December 2011-5 January 2012:

It's been awhile since any of Bruno Mars songs took up the podium position, so, congrats to Bruno Mars on "It Will Rain". It's a very nice song anyway.
This song, "Angel With A Shotgun", what more can I say?
One Direction continues to show good performance on the chart with two of their recent singles.
It seems like "A Thousand Years" is not going to get the podium position. Such a beautiful song yet peaking at the 5th position and now it drops to the 6th position, damn wasted, seriously.
Finally another of my favourite songs made it into the chart, do hope it will last.
I hate to say this but, it is the end for Adele's "Rumour Has It". I don't think it will make it and take up the podium position.
Debut:
Cee Lo Green-Anyway
Taio Cruz-Troublemaker
Selena Gomez-Hit The Lights
Falloffs:
I am not so sure about the falloffs because I am missing the chart for 29 December 2011.
From 23-29 December 2011:

From 16-22 December 2011:

Now "The Boys" takes the number 1 position -.-
What a lousy performance from my favourite song, "Sexy and I Know It"
Gaga drops the top position again, giving it away to Girls' Generation
"Angel With A Shotgun", popular song indeed
One Direction-Gotta Be You
Foster the People-Call It What You Want
Adele-Set Fire to the Rain
|
From 9-15 December 2011:

Sighs.....Why must "The Boys" take the 2nd position, why??!. Hate English songs from Korean artistes to rule the Top 20 chart, sorry if I sound prejudiced towards K-pop.
"What Makes You Beautiful" drops to 3rd position after holding on to the top position for 2 weeks.
3 songs from Adele still staying strong in the chart. Did you guys realize that "Someone Like You" and "Set Fire to the Rain" have been in back-to-back positions for 4 weeks since the chart on 11 November 2011?....LOL, I just mentioned 11-11-11.
Debut:
He Is We(Feat. Owl City)-All About Us
Shigga Shay-Let's Roll
Falloffs:
Taio Cruz(Feat. Flo Rida)-Hangover
The Cab-Bad
|
From 2-8 December 2011:
 |
"What Makes You Beautiful" takes up the top spot for two weeks in a row.
I am really surprised with the poor performance from "Hangover" because it is one of my favourite songs.
Impressive run from Adele again, 3 songs from the same album, in the chart with "Rumour Has It" debuting.
Debut:
Adele-Rumour Has It
Aziatix-Go
Simple Plan-Astronaut
B.o.B. (Feat. Lil' Wayne)-Strange Clouds
Falloffs:
Pitbull(Feat. Marc Anthony)-Rain Over Me
Flo Rida-Good Feeling
Hedley(Feat. P. Reign)-Invincible
Parachute-Forever and Always
|
From 25 November-1 December 2011:
 |
Again, just look at Adele's performance, astonishing!!
One Direction takes the top spot with "What Makes You Beautiful"
Debuts:
Christina Perri-A Thousand Years
The Cab-Angel With A Shotgun
Falloffs:
Selena Gomez-Love You Like A Love Song
Maroon 5(Feat. Christina Aguilera)-Moves Like Jagger
|
From 18-24 November 2011:
 |
Adele's "Set Fire to the Rain" lost the 2nd position from the previous chart.
Stunning performance from Lady Gaga, I should say.
Debuts:
Girls' Generation-The Boys
Bruno Mars-It Will Rain
Taio Cruz(Feat. Flo Rida)-Hangover
Falloffs:
Jason Derulo-It Girl
David Guetta(Feat. Usher)-Without You
Hot Chelle Rae(Feat. New Boyz)-I Like It Like That
|
From 11-17 November 2011:
 |
Back-to-back weeks of good chart performance from Adele, I should say.....
A job well done indeed and I think these 2 weeks were the first time I see 2 different songs from the same artiste, taking their turns to book a spot on the 1st and 2nd positions, consecutively....
